Q: What charity is this zine supporting?
A: This zine will be donating to the Malala Fund, an organization dedicated to helping girls around the world access education.Q. How will applications be reviewed?
A: It is the mod team's hope to judge applications as blindly as possible. Only the head mod (Krystine) will know the identities of applicants prior to selection.Q. How many contributors will there be? Will there be guest contributors?
A: It is the aim of this zine to accept as many contributors as we are feasibly able to accept. Ideally, we will accept 30 artists and 15 writers. At this time, there are no guest contributors, but any invited participants will NOT take one of these spots.Q: What is the maximum word count or number of contributions allowed?
A: Writers have an allowance of 3,000 words, and artists are allowed one contribution. It will be on a case-by-case basic as to whether we are able to accommodate a two-page spread.Q: Is there a minimum word count?
A: It is requested that each fic be at least 750-1000 words.Q: What size will the zine be? What are the Art piece specs?
A: The zine will be printed with A5 paper size. Recommended size for artwork would be 1748 x 2480 Pixel1748 x 2480 Pixel in 300 dpi.
Q. Is Canon Compliance required?
A: Yes, this zine will be canon compliant by default. However, if someone has an AU or canon-adjacent idea they are passionate about, it will be considered on a case-by-case basis.Q: What about OCs?
A: Sorry, at this time, OCs will not be considered as the subjects of this zine. The goal is to showcase the amazing women FFXV has given us, and including OCs may detract from this goal.Q. SFW vs NSFW?
A: The main zine will be SFW/PG-13 rated, but if there is enough interest, then a digital-only NSFW add-on may be made available. No minor characters will be allowed in the NSFW add-on.Q. Ships or No Ships?
A: As this zine's focus is on the ladies of Final Fantasy XV, any contributions should prominently feature them. However, male characters are allowed to appear alongside the ladies. If you are interested in writing ship content, please keep in mind canon ages of characters (i.e. Iris at 15).Q: What about two characters as children? Can they have crushes?
A: If both characters are portrayed in the same age bracket (two kids, two teens, two adults) then it will be allowed.
